Pops Mensah-Bonsu did something that might have seemed like an impossibility at the time, and is still hard to believe even afterward. He made the George Washington basketball team relevant on a national level. He might not be the best player in the school's history, but he is likely the player that has brought the most notoriety to the program.
↵After he left the school he bounced around from the NBA to the D-League, even playing a little bit overseas. Every year he seems to be in one NBA training camp or another trying to earn a full time job. Now it appears that Pops has found a home in New Orleans, via GW George.

↵Pops Mensah-Bonsu made the Hornets' opening day roster. Today is a good day.
↵Congratulations Pops on this latest opportunity. Hopefully you can continue to make D.C. proud and stick with the Hornets.
