New acquisitions, Pablo Hernandez and Branko Boskivic, did nothing to help the team generate goals as D.C. United gets shut out by the Sounders 1-0.
The Sounders were almost as ineffective as United were but for a goal in the 88th minute by Roger Levesque.
United will hope to get some much needed points against the L.A. Galaxy on Sunday.

D.C. United will host the Seattle Sounders tonight at RFK Stadium, with kick-off scheduled for 8:00 est.

They have Hernandez penciled in as a starting forward, but the team has yet to announce his role. He has been practicing with the team for a few weeks now, so it wouldn't be out of the question for him to start immediately.
