Did Sun Yue Just Get Traded In Summer League? (UPDATED)

Stay connected for news and updates

No hypothetical today: we'll resume Monday.

Sun Yue is a Chinese basketball prospect that has played the first three games in Summer League for the Washington Wizards. But apparently, he won't play the final two games for the Wizards, for some reason. Instead, he'll play them for the Bucks

SUMMER LEAGUE ADDITION: Bucks add 6-9 PG Sun Yue to roster. Drafted by Lakers in '07. Came to SL with Wash reports @Paschketball.

Wait, so did he get traded? Do the Wizards get something back for him? Can't we at least get a trade exception to sign another player to a Summer League contract without going over the cap? WE NEED ANSWERS, PEOPLE!

UPDATED: Wizards PR tells us that the team decided to let Sun switch teams to give him a chance to practice his point guard skills, which obviously wasn't going to happen with John Wall on the roster.
