Guard Mike Williams, sitting out the 2010-2011 season due to blood clots near his heart, will be released by the Redskins, according to multiple reports.
Coach Mike Shanahan made the announcement. Best of luck and hopefully a healthy recovery for the big guard, who filled in admirably at times on the Redskins' depleted offensive line last season.
