Cristian Guzman, an original member of the Washington Nationals, is headed to the Texas Rangers for "prospects," reports Bill Ladson of MLB.com.
The 32-year-old Guzman is hitting .282 with 2 home runs and 25 RBI this season. Adam Kilgore of the Washington Post cites a source close to Guzman as saying the trade has "saddened" the veteran infielder.
