Josh Howard Hopes To Be Ready By The Regular Season

Stay connected for news and updates

Josh Howard was only able to play in a few games for the Wizards last year before he tore up his knee, but now he is on the mend and looking for a new team in free agency. Marc Spears of Yahoo! Sports  had this update:

FA Josh Howard tells Y! he's optimistic he will overcome knee injury to be ready for reg-season. Wash, NJ, MIA, NY, SAC, LAC interested

If Josh Howard can regain some of the form that made him an All-Star in 2007, then he could prove to be a good bargain for a team looking for some help on the wing this summer.

We know the Wizards have a rather big need at small forward. If he can convince the team that he will be fully healthy at any point in the upcoming season, he is definitely worth a look.
