The Wizards have been rumored to be moving their training camp closer to Washington D.C. for some time. Now, they've officially done it. 

Coach Flip Saunders told season ticket holders today that the Wizards will indeed hold their training camp at the Patriot Center on the campus of George Mason University in Fairfax. Via Wizards Extreme, who was on the call:

Saunders says that training camp will indeed be held at #PatriotCenter and will open on the 28th. #Wizards

Saunders also said some of the practices would be open to season-ticket holders next year, which is a change from last year, when every practice was closed.
