Report: Yi Jianlian Suffers Arm Injury In International Competition

Stay connected for news and updates

The Wizards already were planning on entering training camp with two players - Andray Blatche and Josh Howard - recovering from summer injuries. Now, they may have a third. According to Matt Moore of NBC's Pro Basketball Talk, Yi Jianlian has suffered an arm injury during international competition.

China faced Slovenia, and Goran Dragic had 15 points and 10 rebounds in a win. This is not relevant. What is relevant is that apparently Yi Jianlian was injured, according to the People's Daily Online. Jianlian suffered an arm injury in the first half and spent the second half on the bench.

It's unclear how serious the injury is, but it's certainly something to watch, considering the other injuries the Wizards have right now.
