Redskins kicker Graham Gano connected on a 27-yard FG attempt late in the first quarter, capping a 10-play, 71-yard drive which took 5:14 off the clock.

The FG ties the score at three, but the Redskins likely felt like they blew an opportunity to score seven when Rex Grossman skipped a pass short of a receiver on third down from inside the Jets’ 10.

Santana Moss continues his strong preseason showing. He has a pair of grabs for 42 yards. Anthony Armstong also has a catch and two solid special teams tackles as he makes his push for a roster spot.
