NFL Depth Charts: Redskins Cut Hall Davis One Day After Trading For Him

In what has to be one of the most interesting roster decisions one could imagine, the Redskins' final player cut of the day was Hall Davis, according to a team press release sent out via email.

Yes, that's the same Hall Davis the team acquired in a trade with the St. Louis Rams yesterday. Today was his very first practice with the team. I guess he didn't impress.

The Redskins are now down to the necessary 75 players after cutting Davis, offensive lineman Edwin Williams, long snapper James Dearth and linebacker Lendy Holmes, as well as placing wide receiver Malcolm Kelly on injured reserve. The rest of the NFL cuts must take place by this weekend.
