Top Local Basketball Recruit Quinn Cook Injures Knee, Could Miss Entire Season

One of the top local basketball recruits this year is Quinn Cook. Cook, who played at DeMatha this year, was the All-Met Player of the Year last year as a junior, and is currently ranked 20th nationally in the Class of 2011 according to Scout.com. He transferred to Oak Hill Academy this season, ostensibly with hopes of using that to generate even more recruiting buzz.

But that vision may now be on hold. Josh Barr of the Washington Post is reporting that Cook injured his knee in an all-star game in Southern California and could miss the entire season, pending the results of an MRI.

Cook has yet to make a decision on which college he will attend.
