Redskins Vs. Texans: Albert Haynesworth Limited In Practice With Ankle Injury

Stay connected for news and updates

The Redskins just released an injury report for next week's game against the Houston Texans, and it came with an interesting nugget: defensive lineman Albert Haynesworth was limited in practice. According to the injury report, Haynesworth was limited due to an ankle injury.

This is kind of random, but he did participate, so it doesn't sound like a lot. Other notes:

  • Kareem Moore once again did not participate in practice, though he said Sunday that his rehabilitation from arthroscopic knee surgery on August 23 is "ahead of schedule."
  • Perry Riley was also limited in practice due to a foot injury.
  • Donovan McNabb (ankle) and Clinton Portis (wrist) were both on the injury report, but both went through the full practice.
  • For the Texans, Dominique Barber (hamstring), Owen Daniels (knee), Vonta Leach (neck), Antwuan Molden (ankle), Amobi Okoye (ankle) and Mario Williams (not listed) were all limited in practice.
