Redskins Vs. Texans: Houston Open Second Half With Field Goal

Stay connected for news and updates

The Texans hoped to start the second half of this game exactly the same way as they started the second half last week against the Colts: by running the ball. Arian Foster ran the ball 10 times on that 15-play drive, including a rushing touchdown.

However, the Redskins did a much better job against the run on this drive than Indiannapolis did last week. The NFL Offensive Player of the Week Foster had only nine yards on four carries thanks to some quality tackling by the Washington defense.

The Texans were able to move the ball down to the Redskins 29-yard line, and Neil Rackers capped off the drive with a field goal.
