Redskins Vs. Texans: Blocked Field Goal Attempt Leaves Redskins With Slim Lead

Stay connected for news and updates

The Redskins looked good to extend their lead back to two scores, but Graham Gano's field goal attempt was blocked by Bernard Pollard.

The drive by the Redskins included a 12-yard run by Clinton Portis. This was his longest run of the day, and a bit refreshing to see since he had been on the sideline with a wrist injury just moments ago.

Prior to the field goal attempt, the Redskins were one yard away from first and goal, but a false start penalty on Jammal Brown backed the team up five yards.

Fred Davis missed an opportunity to slow down Pollard on the block.
