NFL Preseason: John Beck Will Start At Quarterback For Redskins

Fresh off signing a two-year contract extension, John Beck will finally get his chance to really show everyone what he can do. According to CSN's Ryan O'Halloran, Rex Grossman will not play tonight, meaning Beck should line up under center as the starter. 

Grossman will join several other Redskins starters on the sidelines tonight. In fact, according to O'Halloran, many of the starters and even a couple reserves were on the field going through a conditioning drill, which isn't the kind of thing you'd do if you were actually playing. 

ESPN 980's Chris Russell noticed that Santana Moss, Fred Davis, Chris Cooley, Trent Williams, Adam Carriker, Ma'ake Kemoeatu, Andre Carter, London Fletcher, Kendrick Golston, Joey Galloway, Laron Landry, DeAngelo Hall, Reed Doughty, Vonnie Holiday, Brian Orakpo and Derrick Dockery were among those who took part in the drill.
