NFL Depth Charts: Redskins Release Lee Vickers and Justin Tryon (Updated)

UPDATE:  According to NFL Network's Jason LaCanfora, the Redskins have traded cornerback Justin Tryon to the Indianapolis Colts. No news on what the Redskins received in return as of yet.

According to multiple sources, the Washington Redskins have released  cornerback Justin Tryon as well as tight end Lee Vickers. Tryon had an uphill battle to make the team with the new coaching regime in place and he apparently didn't make enough of a good showing to impress Mike Shanahan. Its always a shame to see a good person like Tryon get cut, but a Darrell Green endorsement alone does not a good cornerback make.

Lee Vickers' departure opens the door for undrafted rookie Logan Paulson to make the 53 man final roster.
