NFL Depth Chart: Veteran Safety Tyrone Carter Released By Redskins

According to Washington Examiner's John Keim, the Redskins have released safety Tyrone Carter:

The #Redskins cut Tyrone Carter, per a league source. Heard they were going with 3 safeties to start the season.

With such little depth at the safety position, the Redskins must be confident that Kareem Moore will return to full strength sooner rather than later from arthroscopic surgery repairing a torn medical collateral ligament in his right knee.

Moore was expected to be out four to six weeks from the surgery performed back on August 23.
