Over the weekend, Maryland coach Ralph Friedgen stopped short of ruling out kicker Nick Ferrara for today's game against Navy with a groin injury. However, it appears Ferrara's groin injury has not sufficiently recovered. The team has officially ruled him out for today's game, according to Patrick Stevens.
Punter Travis Baltz will handle all field goals and extra points today, which could prove to be significant if the game is as close as many expect.
