At this point, Navy's inability to convert in the red zone is getting ridiculous. Once again, they marched down the field, methodically running all the way to the Terps' goal line. Once again, they get no points.
This time, they have Heisman Trophy hopeful Ricky Dobbs to blame. The Navy quarterback fumbled at the goal line on an option play, and Maryland's Ryan Donahue recovered at the Maryland one yard line. Dobbs, incredibly, did not cover the ball up with two hands, and he paid the price.
Navy has completely dominated the game since Maryland took a 14-0 lead, and yet, they still trail 14-7.
