The George Mason Patriots will host the Drexel Dragons Wednesday night in Fairfax with conference rankings on the line.
George Mason enters the game with a 4-2 record in CAA play, tied with Old Dominion for fourth behind James Madison, VCU and Hofstra. Drexel stands at 3-3, so a win would put them tied with George Mason.
The CAA named Mason's Ryan Pearson as the conference player of the week last week after averaging 19 points and 65 percent shooting in two games.
Mason leads the CAA in field goal percentage (48.6), but will have their hands full trying to figure out Drexel's defense. The Dragons allow just 25.9 percent shooting from three-point range, the third-lowest mark in the country.
The Patriots have won nine straight at the Patriot Center, while the Dragons have lost six of seven in Fairfax.
