Celtics Vs. Wizards: Washington Hopes To Bounce Back At Home After Last Night's Loss

The Washington Wizards can't be happy about their loss at home in the Verizon Center last night to the Phoenix Suns. That loss snapped the team's prior four-game home winning streak, and apparently the Wizards are going to have to win every game they play at Verizon Center this year in order to go .500. The team remains winless on the road.

Fortunately for the Wizards, they have a chance to get back on track at home just 24 hours later against the Boston Celtics, who have lost just nine games this season, and are currently on a five-game winning streak. And one night after facing veteran point guard Steve Nash, John Wall will be matched up against yet another one of the top point guards in the league in Rajon Rondo.

Wall will get some help tonight from a new face. Mustafa Shakur has been called up from the Rio Grande Valley Vipers of the D-League, according to Scott Schroeder of FanHouse. Shakur is a 6-foot-3 point guard who will be filling in for Kirk Hinrich on a 10-day contract. Shakur has played previously in Poland, Spain and Greece.

Hinrich injured his elbow in the loss last night and will get an MRI in the next few days.
