Navy Vs. Rutgers: Midshipmen Look To Rebound On Road

The Naval Academy looks to improve to 3-3 on the season this weekend when they head North to face Rutgers on the road.

The Naval Academy is still deciding whether or not they want to become a football member of the Big East Conference, but they will get a free preview this weekend when they head up to New Jersey to take on the Rutgers Scarlet Knights. The game starts at 2:00 on Saturday and can be seen on ESPN 3.

It will be an opportunity for the Midshipmen to bounce back from a particularly ugly 63-35 loss to Southern Miss at home over the weekend. They've lost three games in a row after starting the season 2-0 and they still have some difficult dates left on their calendar. Rutgers will be a pretty difficult matchup for the Midshipmen because they have a very strong defense, which could help neutralize Navy's strong rushing attack.

We'll be covering this game all week in this StoryStream, but for more on Rutgers, head over to SB Nation New York.
