DC-area tidbits in small bites
The Washington Capitals do a great job of including celebrities in the promotion of what has arguably become the most popular team in town. That trend has seemingly continued as, via DC101's Elliot In The Morning, singer/comedian "Weird Al" Yankovic was sporting a personalized Caps jersey during a recent performance. See the picture below.
As part of Elliot's "Date Night 2.Al," Yankovic sported a Caps jersey while taking pictures with fans. Of course, one has to wonder if Yankovic's jersey can be considered a "jersey foul." Puck Daddy's Greg Wyshynski provided his insight:
