Navy Vs. Notre Dame: Kriss Proctor Injury Leaves Him Questionable To Play

After dislocating his throwing elbow during Saturday's loss to East Carolina, Kriss Proctor is now questionable for Navy as they try to snap their five-game losing streak against Notre Dame this weekend.

Navy quarterback Kriss Proctor might miss one of the biggest games of the year for the Midshipmen due to an elbow injury suffered last Saturday during his team's 38-35 loss to East Carolina. Proctor is listed as questionable for this coming Saturday's matchup with Notre Dame as Navy tries to snap its five-game losing streak after winning the opening two contests of the year. Their first defeat, a narrow loss against South Carolina, had many believing Navy was a legitimate top-25 team, but losses against

Patrick Stevens of the Washington Times noted on Twitter Monday afternoon that Navy listed both Proctor or Trey Miller as its starting quarterback against Notre Dame. Coach Niamatalolo mentioned Monday that Proctor dislocated his throwing elbow against the Pirates of ECU.

Miller played fairly well in relief of Proctor last Saturday. He was 5-of-12 passing for 126 yards and 2 TDs. He also rushed for 36 yards on 13 carries.

Stay tuned for more news on the injury front as the week progresses.
