Week 8 NFL Injury Report, Washington Redskins: Battered 'Skins Hoping To Put Injury Woes Behind Them

Stay connected for news and updates

An examination of the Redskins Week 8 Injury Report.

The Washington Redskins are once again in a predicament as Week 8 of the NFL schedule rolls around as their injury report reads like an encyclopedia. Three players have been officially listed as out after none of them participated in practice this week. Those three players are WR Santana Moss (hand), RB Mike Sellers (back) and T Trent Williams (ankle).

All those who were listed on the injury report as questionable were limited in practice this week, but still able to test their injuries out. Those players include S Oshiomogho Atogwe (knee), CB Phillip Buchanon (neck), LB London Fletcher (hamstring) and CB DeAngelo Hall (hip).

The remainder of the six players listed on the injury report were all listed as probable and fully participated in practice this week. Those players included T Jammal Brown (hip), S Reed Doughty (chest), QB Rex Grossman (illness), WR Donte' Stallworth (hamstring), CB Byron Westbrook (hamstring) and CB Josh Wilson (hamstring).

The majority of injuries in this group have been concentrated in the secondary, so it will be interesting to see how the Redskins cope with that, especially should further defensive backs be ruled out.
