Washington Redskins Injury Report, Week 10: LaRon Landry Returns To Practice, Oshiomogho Atowge Sits Out Again Thursday

Stay connected for news and updates

The Washington Redskins' losing streak was extended to four games last Sunday with their 19-11 home loss to the surging San Francisco 49ers. In attempt to shake things up for the second half of the season, Mike Shanahan made a number of roster moves earlier this week, signing players on both sides of the ball. The Skins will try to get back in the win column for the first time in over a month when they travel to Miami to face a Dolphins squad that finally recorded its first win of the year last Sunday against the Kansas City Chiefs.

The Redskins may be without two of their key defensive players in the secondary -- safetys LaRon Landry and Oshiomogho Atowge. Landry (Achilles) did return to practice on Thursday, but was limited. Atowge, meanwhile, sat out practice for the second day this week while nursing both a toe and a knee injury that kept him out . Both are listed as questionable for the Week 10 matchup with Miami.

Asked who who would play in place of the duo if their injuries kept them from playing this Sunday, Mike Shanahan said:

"We would go with DeJon [Gomes]. He would be our starter if LaRon didn't go. Kareem [Moore] would be the backup, probably."

Here's the rest of the 'Skins Thursday injury report:
