Mike Green fully practiced Monday, but he still considers himself "day-to-day" and his status for Tuesday's game with the Dallas Stars is uncertain.

BALLSTON, Va. - All 22 active players on the Washington Capitals' roster participated in Monday's practice at Kettler Capitals Iceplex in preparation for Tuesday's game with the Dallas Stars. That includes defenseman Mike Green, who has been sidelined with a right ankle injury. Green fully participated in all drills and said after practice that he's feeling better.

"Yeah," Green said when asked if he was "ready to go." "It was my first real skate where I skated with the team fully. I'm feeling good, so we'll see. I'm a lot better than I even was two days ago, so I feel good."

Green has yet to play since October 22 when he twisted his right ankle in the first period of the Caps' 7-1 win over the Detroit Red Wings. Green has missed five games and has just recently begun to fully practice. Regardless, Green feels as though he could return as soon as possible.

"I feel like I could," Green said. "It's just a matter of making sure that I get a couple more skates in or at least one more tomorrow morning and then we'll go from there. It's day-to-day."

Head coach Bruce Boudreau, however, is in no rush to bring Green back as he wants to make sure he is completely healed before returning.

"We don't want to rush him," Boudreau said. "We're not going to rush him, either."

Meanwhile, Boudreau said that forward Jay Beagle, out with a concussion since October 13, is expected to practice with the team tomorrow. Beagle suffered a concussion against the Pittsburgh Penguins in what has now become a notorious fight with Arron Asham.
