Army-Navy Game 2011 Score Update: Trent Steelman Touchdown Cuts Navy's Lead To 14-7

Just when it looked like Navy would run away from Army in the 2011 Army-Navy Game, the Black Knights responded. Army methodically moved the ball up the field, did not fumble and eventually tied the score when quarterback Trent Steelman broke away from Navy defenders and ran it in for a 34-yard touchdown. Navy currently leads, 14-7, with 3:34 to play in the first half.

Army had experienced success against Navy's defense, but had shot itself in the foot with turnovers. Not this time. The Black Knights kept using the option to get upfield, then broke a big one when Steelman slipped between the tackles and cut outside. The Midshipmen defenders couldn't catch him and he scored easily.

It's Steelman's 12th rushing touchdown of the season. The Midshipmen will now look to respond and take command again before the first half ends.
