Stay connected for news and updates

The topsy-turvy 2011 Army-Navy Game continues. Just when Navy looked like it had seized momentum on the opening drive of the second half, Army struck right back with another strong drive that ended in surprising fashion. After running the ball pretty much all game, Army struck with a play-action pass, and Trent Steelman found Malcolm Brown for a 25-yard touchdown to tie the game at 21 with 9:45 remaining in the third quarter. It's Brown's second touchdown of the game, though the first one was a rushing touchdown.

The big play of the drive came when fullback Larry Dixon ran right up the middle through the teeth of the defense to get the ball down to the 25-yard line. One play later, Steelman expertly pulled off the play-action fake and found Brown right between the defenders in the middle of the field. Brown cut back up the middle and was easily able to walk into the end zone for the score.
