Army-Navy Game 2011 Final Score: Midshipmen Win 10th Straight In Rivalry, 27-21

The 2011 Army-Navy Game was one of the most hotly contested in a while, but in the end, the team that has dominated recently won again. Navy hit two fourth-quarter field goals and stopped Army when it counted to get a 27-21 win, their 10th straight in the rivalry.

Navy hit a short field goal to take a 24-21 lead early in the fourth quarter, then Army committed a major blunder by fumbling the kickoff. Navy got the ball back and was stopped by the Army defense, but Jon Teague, who has struggled all season, just barely nailed a 44-yard field goal to give Navy a 27-21 lead.

Army marched the ball down the field on the ensuing drive, but the drive stalled at Navy's 25-yard line. The Black Knights went for it on fourth and seven, and Trent Steelman was sacked. Navy took over on downs worked it to midfield before going for it on fourth and inches. On the play, Navy went with a hard count and linebacker Bryce French bit, sealing the win for Navy.

Kriss Proctor scored twice for Navy, while Alexander Teich scored the other. Malcom Brown had one touchdown rushing and one touchdown receiving for Army. Steelman threw for one touchdown and rushed for another. Ultimately, Army committed too many turnovers to come away with the win.

Navy finishes the year 5-7, while Army finishes the year 3-9.
