Khan Vs. Peterson Fight Card: Seth Mitchell Fights in Co-Main Event

On Saturday night, the Washington, D.C.hometown boy Lamont Peterson will take on Amir "Killer" Khan for both the IBF and WBA light-welterweight titles. The event is scheduled to begin at 9:45 p.m. ET on HBO, where it will be airing live from the Walter E. Washington Convention Center.

The co-main event of the evening features Brandywine, Maryland's own Seth Mitchell, will hope to add on to his undefeated 23-0-1 record in the heavyweight division. He faces off against Timur Ibragimov, a boxer from Uzbekistan who holds a career record of 31-3-1, including 16 wins by knockout.

Anthony Peterson vs. Daniel Attah
Fernando Guerrero vs. Robert Kliewer
Jamie Kavanagh vs. Ramesis Gil
Thomas Williams vs. Reynaldo Rodriguez
Chris Russell vs. Dashawn Autry

With two big co-main bouts featuring D.C. area natives, this is one of the largest boxing events to come to Washington in some time.
