Flyers Vs. Capitals: Caps Face Test Against East-Leading Flyers

The Washington Capitals are on their first roll under Dale Hunter, having won two games in a row for the first time in about two weeks. Tuesday, the Caps will look to win three games in a row for the first time since their seven-game win streak to open the season against the Philadelphia Flyers at Verizon Center.

Washington has had three days off since defeating the Toronto Maple Leafs 4-2 Friday. Dennis Wideman scored twice for the first time in his career and the Caps scored four power play goals.

Meanwhile, Philadelphia has been on a roll of its own, having won seven of 10. Yet, if the Flyers are going to make it eight of 11, they will likely have to do it without the NHL's leading scorer, Claude Giroux, who is suffering from a head injury. The Flyers are already without Chris Pronger (post-concussion symptoms) and Brayden Schenn (concussion).
