Florida International Vs. Maryland: Terps Rally Back To A 65-61 Victory

The Maryland Terrapins rallied back from a 34-27 deficit at halftime to get a 65-61 victory over the Florida International Golden Panthers. FIU survived an early run by the Terps but then seemingly took control before halftime, going on a 13-4 run to close out the first half. In the second half however, the Terps were able to retake the lead.

Early on in the second half, FIU was able to hold the lead but eventually the Terps were able to go on a run and tie the game. After some fouls on FIU that saw the Terps sink their free throws, the Terps took and held onto the lead finishing off FIU, 65-61.

Guard Terrell Stoglin lead the Terps in scoring with 20 points, scoring eleven of those on the free throw line. Ashton Pankey added another 13 points and 6 rebounds while Sean Mosley adding another 12 points. For FIU, guard Phil Taylor led the way with 20 points while guard Jeremy Allen added another 18 points in the loss.

Florida International Vs. Maryland Game Time, TV Schedule And More

The Maryland Terrapins are in the middle of what could be considered the doldrums of their schedule, in between their interesting out of conference games and their ACC schedule. This is the time when the team can catch a breather and get ready for their Conference slate. Having said that, this would be a pretty bad time for them to shift their focus and lose to a less than quality opponent.

The second game of this bleak stretch is against Florida International and head coach Isiah Thomas. Here is all the information you need on where and how you can find this game tonight.

Game Time: Tipoff is scheduled for 7:30 PM EST at Comcast Center in College Park, MD

TV: The game will be televised on ESPN, but you can watch it online at ESPN3 as well.

Radio: You can listen to the radio broadcast on ESPN 980.

Odds:

12/14/2011 Florida International 140½o-108 140½o-110 140½o-110
7:30 PM Maryland -12½-105 -12-103 -11½-110

We'll have plenty more on the game throughout the day, but for more on teh Terrapins and tonight's contest, head over to  Testudo Times.
