Army-Navy Game 2011: Midshipmen, Black Knights Meet At FedEx Field In Storied Rivalry

College football's most storied rivalry comes to FedEx Field on Sunday when Army and Navy square off in the 112th edition of their annual game.

Dec 5, 2011 - The college football regular season will end with the 112th edition of the Army-Navy game on Saturday, December 10. The latest edition of the storied rivalry will take place at FedEx Field in Landover, Md. after being played in Philadelphia last season. It will also be the final game of the season for both teams.

Both clubs have struggled in 2011. Army enters the game at just 3-8 on the year after reaching its first bowl game since 1996 last season. Navy, meanwhile, has suffered through a disappointing 4-7 season that has featured an injury to starting quarterback Kriss Proctor and a one-game suspension for star running back Alexander Teich. This will be the first year since 2003 that the Midshipmen will not play in a bowl game.

The Midshipmen have dominated this matchup recently, winning the last nine games. Here is more information on the game.

Game date, time: 2:30 p.m. EST, December 10

Location: FedEx Field, Washington, D.C.

TV channel: CBS

Series History: Navy leads the overall series with a 55-49-7 record, including nine wins in a row.
