Patriots Vs. Redskins: Can Washington Stand Up Against New England?

Stay connected for news and updates

The Washington Redskins will face arguably their toughest opponent of the season this weekend as they host the New England Patriots.

The Washington Redskins will face an incredibly difficult test this weekend when they host the Washington Redskins at FedEx Field on Sunday afternoon at 1 pm.

On paper it could be the biggest test the Redskins will face all year. The Patriots are one of the best teams in football on the offensive side of the ball, and their defense can turn any mistakes by the opposing offense into mistkaes that ultimately become turnovers.

The Redskins, of course, will be without two of their most important players on the offensive side of the ball while Fred Davis and Trent Williams serve the first of their four game suspensions. This was the side of the field where the Redskins needed to make their move, without those two players, it will probably be pretty difficult.

We'll have more on this game throughout the week in this StoryStream.
