2011 US Open Pairings And Tee Times For Thursday

First-round action at the 2011 U.S. Open is now underway live from Congressional Country Club in Bethesda. Several groups are on the course as we speak, and most of the rest will begin later in the day. Here is a full list of 2011 U.S. Open pairings and tee times for Thursday's first-round action.

The highlights:

  • The super group of Luke Donald, Lee Westwood and Martin Kaymer is on the course, starting at 8:06 a.m. All three have held the world No. 1 ranking recently. Donald has begun his day with three birdies.
  • Defending champion Graeme McDowell began his day at 7:55 a.m., along with Peter Uihlein and Louis Oosthuizen.
  • Past stars Ernie Els, Davis Love III and Jim Furyk began their day at 8:17 a.m.
  • Maryland native Fred Funk began at 7:33 a.m. along with David Chung and Michael Campbell.
  • Padraig Harrington, Stewart Cink and Angel Cabrera began at 7:44 a.m.
Later, the rest of the field will get underway, including the intriguing group of Phil Mickelson, Rory McIlroy and Dustin Johnson, which begins at 1:35 p.m.
