It appears NBC, during their introduction to Sunday's final round of the 2011 U.S. Open, chose to have children read the pledge of allegiance, except the kids left out the words "under God". As you might imagine, this has caused quite a stir on Twitter and the internet. No comment yet from the network regarding the ommission, but based on the public's reaction, NBC PR might want to craft some sort of response.
