The 2011/12 Maryland basketball schedule has been released, and new coach Mark Turgeon will have several very difficult tests in his first non-conference schedule. None of the teams the Terps are playing are expected to be at the very top of the rankings, but several will be stern tests. The Terps are already scheduled to face at least three non-conference teams that made the 2011 NCAA Tournament and could face more depending on their performance in the Puerto Rico Tip-Off.

The 2011/12 Maryland basketball schedule has been released, including the 16 games the team will play against ACC foes. The Terps' ACC schedule likely will not be easy.
