Temple Vs. Maryland: Can Terps Bounce Back Against Temple Owls?

The Maryland Terrapins host the Temple Owls this weekend at Byrd Stadium in College Park. Can they bounce back from their loss to West Virginia?

Maryland is coming off a tough loss to the West Virginia Mountaineers in their last game, the Terps will try to bounce back against a team that, at least on paper, doesn't seem like it should be a very tough opponent. On Saturday, the Temple Owls will take that short drive down 95 to College Park. The game will be played at 12:30.

Temple should provide much easier opposition than the Terps have faced in either of their games this season. This should provide an interesting test for new coach Randy Edsall. One of the more enfuriating hallmarks of the Ralph Friedgen era was that the Terps would occasionally play down to their less impressive opponents. Temple isn't a bad team, but the Terps should win this one going away. They need to play like that.

We'll have more on this game throughout the week in this StoryStream. For more on the Terrapins head over to Testudo Times, and for more on the Owls, check out SB Nation Philly.
