Jon Gruden, just now on ESPN, previewing Monday night’s big game:
“It takes a lot of guts to trade Donovan McNabb, trade Albert Haynesworth and cut Clinton Portis, who was a great Redskin.”
I’ll be the first to praise Mike Shanahan and Bruce Allen for doing those things, but it would have taken more guts to keep those guys than to trade them.
