AT&T Nation's Football Classic Final Score: Howard Holds On To Top Morehouse, 30-27

The renewal of one of college football's most storied rivalries certainly did not disappoint. HBCU rivals Howard and Morehouse staged a classic in the inaugural AT&T Nation's Football Classic at RFK Stadium, with the I-AA Bison holding off an upset bid by the Division II Tigers to get a 30-27 victory.

Morehouse led most of the way before Howard took command with two fourth-quarter touchdowns to take a 30-20 lead. It looked like the game was over when Morehouse was intercepted inside Howard territory with 3:16 remaining in the game. But then Morehouse forced Howard's Charles Brice to fumble, and Morco Latavius Watts picked it up and raced in for the score with 2:20 remaining.

Morehouse decided to onside kick afterwards and Howard recovered, but Morehouse forced a three and out and got the ball at their own 10-yard line with 42 seconds left. Byron Ingram then found Derrick Hector for 57 yards to bring the ball to Howard's 25-yard line, and Morehouse was in business. But they elected to go for the end zone instead of kick a game-tying field goal, and Ingram was sacked to end the game.

Schedule of events: Events have been going on around the game since Thursday. On Friday, Sean "Diddy" Combs and Big Tigger performed at a kickoff rally at the Washington Convention Center. On Saturday, the Pepsi MAX fan festival is ongoing at the stadium.
