Wake Forest Vs. Maryland: Terrapins Look For First ACC Win

The Maryland Terrapins will host Wake Forest on Wednesday night with a very good chance to earn their first ACC win under Mark Turgeon.

The Maryland Terrapins lost their first game of the ACC season on Sunday against North Carolina State. In their continued quest for their first ACC win, they get a little bit of an easier opponent on Wednesday. They'll host the Wake Forest Deamon Deacons in a game that starts at 7 and can be seen on ESPN3.

Wake Forest is coming off an impressive overtime win against Virginia Tech in their ACC opener, but they don't have the kind of talent that an N.C. State squad has, so the Terps should be expected to win this one, particularly at home. If the Terps do manage to get a win tonight, it would be the first (hopefully of many) Conference win in Mark Turgeon's career at Maryland.

We'll have plenty more on this game throughout the day on SB Nation D.C., so keep it locked to this StoryStream. For more on the Terps, head over to Testudo Times, and for more on the Wake Forest Deamon Deacons, check out Blogger So Dear.
