VIDEO: Russian Machine Never Breaks Creates 'Mike Tyson's Punch-Out!!' Featuring Rene Bourque

Stay connected for news and updates

After former Calgary Flames forward Rene Bourque elbowed Washington Capitals forward Nicklas Backstrom in the head January 3, causing what could be a concussion, the prevailing attitude in the Washington locker room was one of disappointment that they would not get another opportunity at Bourque since January 3 was their only meeting with Calgary.

In a bit of serendipity, the Montreal Canadiens traded for Bourque last week, which happened to be less than one week before they faced the Caps for the first time this season. With the chance to exact revenge for their fallen teammate, the intriguing storyline heading into Wednesday's game between the Caps and Habs is whether or not the former will go after Bourque.

The ingenious minds of Russian Machine Never Breaks created the best preview possible: a reimagining of the iconic NES game, "Mike Tyson's Punch-Out!!" Keep an eye out for some new characters below the jump.

The resemblance between Troy Brouwer and Little Mac is uncanny.
