Nuggets Vs. Wizards: Washington Looks For Second Straight Win

The Washington Wizards will host the Denver Nuggets on Friday night at the Verizon Center looking for their second straight win over a Western Conference foe.

The Washington Wizards are coming off of an inspiring if somewhat surprising win against the Oklahoma City Thunder on Wednesday night, and they'll have a chance to go for a second straight win when they host the Denver Nuggets at the Verizon Center on Friday.

The Denver Nuggets will pose a pretty big problem for the Washington Wizards defense as they are one of the most well-run and effective offensive units in the NBA. They rank second in the NBA in points scored per game at just over 104, but they are the top team in terms of assists per contest. For a Wizards team that has trouble slowing down even anemic offensive teams, this could be an issue.

We'll have plenty more on this game throughout the day on SB Nation D.C., so keep it locked to this StoryStream. For more on the Wizards, as always, you can check out Bullets Forever.
