Celtics Vs. Wizards Score Update: Without Rajon Rondo And Ray Allen, Boston Leads Washington 49-40 At Half

Stay connected for news and updates

Playing without Rajon Rondo, the Boston Celtics lead the Washington Wizards 49-40 after one half at Verizon Center. In addition to Rondo, the Celtics lost Ray Allen after just ten minutes of play. The veteran guard left the floor with an apparent knee injury, but not before he scored seven points. Paul Pierce leads the Celtics with 18 points, and is a perfect eight for eight from the free-throw line.

John Wall leads the Wizards with 14 points, as he has managed to get into the lane and get to the line, hitting all six of his free-throw attempts. After missing all seven shots he took on Friday against the Nuggets, Andray Blatche has eight points on four of nine shooting. Washington will need to improve its efficiency on the offensive end to get back in it against a depleted Celtics team.
