Bruins Vs. Capitals Game Time, TV Schedule And More

The Washington Capitals host the Boston Bruins on Tuesday evening before embarking on a three-game road trip. Washington hopes to end its two-game losing streak and keep pace with the Florida Panthers in the Southeast Division.

In their last outing, the Capitals fell to the Pittsburgh Penguins, 4-3, in overtime, squandering what had been a 3-2 lead. Alex Ovechkin had one goal and two assists in the losing effort.

Boston is coming off a 6-5 win in a shootout against the Philadelphia Flyers, which improved it to 5-1 in shootouts for the 2011/12 season. Tim Thomas stoned Wayne Simmonds' tying attempt in the shootout, giving the Bruins the victory.

Tuesday's meeting is the first of four between Boston and Washington on the season. Boston won three of the four games in 2010/11.
