Stay connected for news and updates

The offenses started slow, but the Redskins have scored two touchdowns in the final three minutes of the half to take a 17-9 lead over the Vikings. Alfred Morris punched in a touchdown for the Redskins with 2:27 remaining. Christian Ponder fumbled on the first play of the ensuing drive, and Robert Griffin III connected with Darrel Young for a six yard touchdown on the next play to give Washington 14 points in a 13 second span.

Griffin has been efficient for the Redskins, going 11-14 for 116 yards, a touchdown and an interception. The rushing game has struggled though, as Alfred Morris is leading the team with only 28 yards on the ground.

Christian Ponder has been good for the Vikings, going 12-17 for 121 yards, but his fumble before halftime has given the Redskins the momentum. Adrian Peterson has 48 yards on 8 carries, but 32 of those yards came on one run. Percy Harvin has 53 yards receiving to lead the team.
