Cooley's reportedly asking for $2.5 million for his Leesburg mansion.
Since Chris Cooley was released by the Redskins earlier this year, he's kept himself busy by appearing on NBC4 as a Redskins analyst alongside sportscaster Dan Hellie (and, presumably, keeping up with his pottery and sifting through the aftermath of his second marriage). Now, it seems Cooley will have something else to preoccupy his mind: selling his Leesburg mansion.
Per the talented Roxanne Roberts and Amy Argetsinger from the Post's Reliable Source column:
Six bedrooms, nine bathrooms, four-car garage, one elevator. Media room? Check. Spa/pool? Naturally. Wine cellar? You have to ask? Fireplace? Three of them.
What, no grotto? Man, Cooley's gotta get with it.
According to Roberts and Argetsinger, Cooley's asking for $2.5 million for the house, which he bought for $2.85 million in 2007 (ouch, babe). Even so, if there's any place where that sort of money can be provided, it'll be in the Royal Counties of Northern Virginia. We're not worried.
