Robert Griffin III threw an interception in the final minutes of the third quarter to set up the Giants inside Redskins' territory. It was just the third time that Griffin III has been intercepted in his rookie season. It was the second consecutive Washington drive to end with a turnover. Earlier in the quarter, Alfred Morris fumbled for the first Redskins' turnover of the game.
Griffin III is 10-for-15 passing through three quarters, throwing for 140 yards and a touchdown in addition to the interception. Morris has carried 18 times for 104 yards.
The Giants scored on an Andre Brown touchdown and a pair of field goals by Lawrence Tynes in the second quarter.
The game is a matchup of two of the top teams in the NFC East, with the 4-2 Giants sitting atop the division and the Redskins tied for second with the Philadelphia Eagles at 3-3.
