Navy and East Carolina put winning streaks on the line in a non-conference showdown.
The Navy Midshipmen will put their three-game winning streak on the line as they take on the East Carolina Pirates on Sunday at ECU's Dowdy-Ficklen Stadium.
Two of the Midshipmen's victories have been tight-fought triumphs, beating the Indiana Hoosiers by just one point last weekend, and topping the Air Force Falcons in overtime at the beginning of October.
Led by freshman quarterback Keenan Reynolds, the Midshipmen completed a strong comeback against the Big Ten's Hoosiers, capped by Reynolds' 4-yard touchdown pass to Matt Aiken with just more than two minutes remaining.
East Carolina, 5-3 overall and 4-1 in early C-USA conference play, has won two straight. The Pirates are coming off a seven-point victory over UAB, in which running back Vintavious Cooper ran for 172 yards and two touchdowns in the close victory.
Date and Time: Oct. 27, 3:30 p.m.
Location: Dowdy-Ficklen Stadium, Greenville, N.C.
TV: FSN
Odds: East Carolina is favored by four points at home.
